My Experience on Exercising Consistently
I Just Can't Get Enough by the Black Eyed Peas. Training is not a race, a match, a competition. A race is a race. A match is match. A competition is a compeition. My main disipline is running, and I used to contest myself by saying running is a compeition of me vs. myself. Yet, running with that mentality left me injury prone, overtrained and burnt out from the activity I just couldn't get enough of to stay fit. So what did I do?
I started approaching fitness as fun instead of a chore. By doing so it took the "work" out of "working out." How did I do this? Simply finding the activity that I Just Can't Get Enough Of. Thats the secret to exercising consistently. It wasn't by following a regimine you might see on instagram reels, listening to someone say the best way to get a 6 pack is by having a friend at the gym punch your abs until they manifest into abs adorned by adonis himself.
How do you find that activity? Chances are you're already doing it, or pursued it when you were younger. We may give up on things because we think we're not good enough to pursue them, but since when did not thinking we're good enough have anything to do with enjoying the activity?
